Semiahmoo Family Place is a welcoming community for families with young children in Surrey, White Rock and beyond. Through our Family Resource Programs, we create opportunities for parents and caregivers to connect with one another, find support and resources, and enjoy meaningful time with their children.

We believe raising a family was never meant to be done alone. Sometimes what makes the biggest difference is having a place to go where you are welcomed as you are, your children can play and explore, and you can meet other parents and caregivers who understand this season of life.

Supporting the mental and emotional wellness of parents and families is at the heart of what we do. We know that pregnancy, becoming a parent and raising young children can bring tremendous joy, but can also be overwhelming, isolating and challenging. Connection, belonging and having people to turn to can make an important difference.

Our programs bring families together through play, conversation, shared meals, parenting and emotional wellness support, community resources, and connections with caring professionals and community partners. We work to create safe, welcoming spaces where families can build relationships, talk openly about the realities of parenting, find support when they need it, and know they are not alone.

Whether you are expecting a baby, adjusting to life with a newborn, looking for connection with other parents, navigating a challenging season, or simply searching for a welcoming place to spend time with your little one, there is a place for you at SFP.
