Drop-in Programs

SFP programs currently include Family Place and Baby Place. Various other sessions are regularly offered for dance, exercise and arts and crafts. Special visits from our friendly community helpers like nurses, librarians, dentists, and the Music Man, Nelson Beavington, aim to provide families with important contacts and resources.

All programs, while supervised by facilitators, are parent-participation.

Everyone is welcome to drop in at any day, and any time. No pre-registration necessary.

Family Place (children 0-6 years old)

Family Place is a great opportunity for families with children 0-6 years old to connect with other parents, caregivers, and children through play.

Activities include circle time, arts and crafts, music and movement, story time, and free play.

Monday, Tuesday*, Wednesday, Thursday*, Friday. 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

*Tuesday and Thursday we end at 11am to transition to Baby Place

Everyone is welcome.

$5 Drop-in fees per family (fees can be waived on a case-by-case basis)

Baby Place (0-18 months)

Baby Place provides a calm, safe environment for new parents to meet each other with their babies.

Activities include circle time, tummy time, music, and story time. Features Music Man Nelson.

Tuesday 11am to 1pm

Thurssday 11am to 1pm

Everyone is welcome.

$5 Drop-in fees per family (fees can be waived on a case-by-case basis)

Nature Fridays – not currently running

The group meets at a local park for community building, stories, music, and a bit of nature exploration. Look out for Nelson the Music Man at 10am! Various activities include: dance, drama, art, games, and nature exploration.

Meet at covered picnic shelter on large field near parking lot.
